The Garden Grove
Unified School District is the second largest school district in
the County, and the eleventh largest in the State. The District is
dedicated to providing a high quality education, building on a strong
foundation of reading, writing, math and science. As a result, the
District’s students have outperformed both the state and national
averages in math SAT scores. The District is also dedicated to
providing a safe, supportive environment for students, with all
classes in first through third grades containing no more than twenty
students. Despite serving over 46,000 students, the Garden Grove
Unified School District is among the safest in the State, and has a
drop-out rate well below both the State and County averages.
